What a spectacular view of these flowering racks of flowers was exploding out of the cages.
The multitude of vibrant colors will hypnotize bloom addict gardeners and flower lovers alike. Flowers on tall carts, in long wagons, and flowers bundled in people’s arms. Full blooms drooping, hanging from the weight of oversized pedals of color represented in many shades of many sizes, with just as many smiles of satisfaction on the faces of customers.
Be sure to venture off the main paved walking paths onto some of the more secluded side streets. Walk slow with a critical eye, be on the lookout to spot those hidden jewels, and one of a kind flower bargains and beauty.
The same happened to me on an early morning as I looked across the street and noticed a greenhouse truck sitting, south of the market, on a side street, with the rear door open. I approached the truck and low and beheld, there were some of the brightest, prettiest, beautiful, blooming geraniums I had ever seen. The grower was from a small greenhouse from Ann Arbor Michigan; this was their first time on the market. Needless to say, my vigilance paid off that day. I purchased several flat of the geraniums from this Michigan greenhouse grower, and, of course, that summer became the envy of the neighborhood.
